There are a number of ways you can support LifeSTEPS in serving the needs of our most vulnerable populations.

Make an Investment That Changes Lives.

First, please consider a charitable donation to LifeSTEPS. Your financial support ensures that we will not only be there for people to catch them before they fall into homelessness, but will offer them the resources, tools and education needed to create a better quality of life. When this happens, the entire community benefits.
For information about our giving programs, including planned giving, please contact our Development Department at (916) 965-0110, ext. 212.

To give securely online, just click the Donate Now button.

Tax Free Charitable IRA Distributions

Contributions to Life Skills Training & Educational Programs, Inc. (LifeSTEPS) are tax deductible as a charitable donation.

Donate Goods & Services

An extremely valuable way to help the people LifeSTEPS serves is to make contributions of goods and services that could help our residents become more self-sufficient. For example, a gift card for a local grocery store really helps a family stretch their budget. To make a donation of goods or services, please contact the Development Department at (916) 965-0110, ext. 217.

Become a Volunteer!

LifeSTEPS always has a number of volunteer opportunities in each community we provide services. Whether it’s volunteering time in our After School program, teaching a class, or agreeing to pick-up donations from a local food bank, we sincerely appreciate the time and effort you are willing to give.

If you are interested please refer to volunteermatch.com by clicking this link or search the website under LifeSTEPS for current opportunities. For further questions please contact our HR department at humanresources@lifestepsusa.org

Note: we are always seeking children’s craft supplies and games; enthusiastic volunteers; and those with special skills to share through teaching. All volunteers are screened and monitored by professionals.
